Christianity 101

It is frequently said that no one “truth” has more validity than another person’s “truth.”  In an effort to present an all-encompassing, politically correct God, the absolute Truth of His word has been watered down and even dispensed with by too many modern day scholars.  There IS a way to know the mind and the heart of God–Scripture.  It is more popular than not in these last days to loftily proclaim that the Bible contains moral truths and so is necessary for Christian reading, but this is to negate the true value of the Scriptures.  The Bible was Holy Spirit-beathed to special men of God who related exactly what God told them.  If any of it is fictionalized, then it is of no use to us.  Any moral story would serve the purpose as well.  We know, however, that the Bible is true–God has told many people so, and God does not subvert the truth.  If you don’t believe those to whom God has spoken, ask God yourself to reveal the truth to you.  It is a prayer He always answers.  He did it for me; He will do it for whoever asks it of Him.  God is real; He sent His Son Jesus (Yeshua) to die for our sins and He wants all of us to accept the love He has waiting for us. Ignorance of His laws will not excuse us come the day of Judgment:  we have His word to lead us and His Holy Spirit to guide us into the paths of righteousness.

God IS.  He is the only valid truth.  He is our Creator, our Redeemer and our All-in-All.  Jesus said, “I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life.  No one comes to the Father except by Me.”  There is no other way to salvation except through Jesus.  If you don’t know Him, open the Bible and read in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) about His Life and His revelation of Who He is–the Son of God, existing since before the world began.  If you do as Jesus suggested and “take up your cross and follow Me” you will never be the same, nor will you ever want to be the same person you once were!  You will be a true child of the living God!
